Instructions
Heat the Oil: Pour 2 tablespoons of sunflower oil into a wok and place it over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to heat until it's shimmering but not smoking.
Cook the Green Beans: Add the 200g of trimmed green beans to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. You're looking for the beans to become slightly browned and tender-crisp.
Add Garlic: Once the beans are starting to brown, add the finely sliced 3 garlic cloves to the wok. Stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic is just turning golden. Be careful not to let it burn!
Splash in Sauce: Drizzle in 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce (or soy sauce) and toss everything together to coat the beans evenly. Cook for an additional minute to heat through.
Serve: Transfer the stir-fried garlic green beans to a serving dish and enjoy as a delicious side dish!
Tips:
- Make sure your wok is hot enough before adding the beans to get that nice char.
- If you prefer a bit more flavor, you can add a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
