Step 1: Prep the Vegetables
- Chop ½ head of cabbage into thin strips.
- Slice ½ medium onion into small pieces or rings.
- Grate 1 small carrot using a box grater or food processor.
- Chop 3 tbsp spring onions into small pieces.
Step 2: Sauté the Cabbage and Onion
- Heat 1 tsp cooking oil in a large pan or skillet over medium-low heat.
- Add the chopped cabbage and onion into the pan.
- Stir-fry the cabbage and onion for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they become soft and slightly golden.

Step 3: Add Seasonings
- Sprinkle in 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp salt, and ½ tsp black pepper.
- Stir well to coat the cabbage and onion evenly with the spices.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to blend together.
Step 4: Add the Grated Carrot
- Add the grated carrot to the pan with the cabbage and onion.
- Stir-fry the mixture for another 3-4 minutes until the carrot softens and everything is well combined.
Step 5: Set Aside the Vegetables
- Once the vegetables are cooked, turn off the heat.
- Set the vegetable mixture aside in a bowl to cool slightly while you prepare the eggs.
Step 6: Beat the Eggs
- Crack 3 large eggs into a clean bowl.
- Beat the eggs with a fork or whisk until they are smooth and combined (about 30 seconds).
Step 7: Add the Vegetables to the Eggs
- Add the stir-fried vegetables (cabbage, onion, carrot) into the beaten eggs.
- Stir in 3 tbsp chopped spring onions, 3 tbsp oatmeal, and 2 tbsp wheat flour.
- Mix everything well until the vegetables, eggs, and dry ingredients are evenly combined.
Step 8: Cook the Egg Mixture
- Heat 1 tsp cooking oil in a clean pan over medium heat.
- Pour the egg and vegetable mixture into the pan.
- Cook for about 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the eggs start to set and become fluffy.
Step 9: Flip the Eggs
- When the bottom of the egg mixture is golden and set, flip the entire mixture carefully using a spatula or a plate.
- To flip, place a plate over the pan and quickly invert it, then slide the eggs back into the pan to cook the other side.
- Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the other side is golden and the eggs are fully cooked through.
Step 10: Serve and Enjoy
- Once the eggs are fully cooked, remove them from the pan.
