This Delicious RasMalai Mousse combines creamy saffron-infused milk, whipped cream, and soft bread layers, topped with nuts for a delicious, indulgent dessert. Simple yet elegant! Okay so lets get to the recipe instructions and ingredients now

    Step 1: Prepare the Milk Mixture

    In a saucepan, add 1 litre milk, ¼ teaspoon saffron, and ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder. Mix well.

    Cook over medium flame until the milk comes to a boil. Once it boils, reduce the heat and continue to cook until the milk is reduced by half.

    Add crushed nuts (almonds and pistachios) and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.


    Step 2: Whip the Cream

    In a separate bowl, add 1 cup whipping cream and 1-2 pinches yellow food color (edible).

    Beat the cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside for later use.

    Step 3: Prepare the Bread

    Take 2 soft bread slices and use a round cutter to cut them into circular shapes. Set the bread pieces aside.


    Step 4: Assemble the Mousse

    In a glass, layer the ingredients as follows:

    • First, add a layer of whipped cream.
    • Then, add a piece of the bread.
    • Pour a layer of the ras malai milk mixture on top of the bread.
    • Add another layer of whipped cream and finish with a sprinkle of crushed nuts on top.

    Step 5: Serve
